The holidays bring lots and lots of parties. Are you bogged down with a hectic schedule full of parties during this time of year? I have a few to attend and choosing the outfit is my favorite part of the whole process. In years past I would go out and purchase a few different brand new items to wear. This year I decided to save my coin and raid my closest for outfit ideas.
Today I want to share with you a few of those outfit choices. If you are stumped on what to wear it may give you some insight on items you have in your closet.
Look 1.
Sweater - Old Navy - I have had this sweater since high school so I am not sure of the price. The detail is my favorite and it is so timeless. The link is a similar sweater from Old Navy for $35.00, currently on sale!
Skirt - Old Navy $20 - A great body con skirt should be in every women's wardrobe.
Shoes - Nordstrom Rack - This was an old purchase. The classic gold kitten heel brings the whole holiday look together
Look 2
Blouse - Nordstrom Rack $7 - I found this top in the clearance section! The criss-cross detail is so cute and it is super cute/comfortable.
Skirt - Target - Another oldie but goodie. I can't find a similar skirt. It's a simple flowy mini skirt.
Tight - Target - These are one of my favorite pair of tights. Target makes a great pair that goes up to a size 3x. They are lights weight and super form fitting.
Shoes - Nordstrom Rack - Wedge booties are my favorite. They're super comfortable while still being stylish.
Scarf - Old Navy - Old Navy scarves are really nice as I have had this one for years.
Look 3
Dress - Forever 21 - This gold off-white dress is perfect for the holidays. Ladies, don't be afraid to accentuate your curves!
Tights - See Above
Look 4
Sparkly Sheer Glitter Cover Dress - Forever 21 - I am obsessed with this piece! These pictures do not even do it justice. The sparkles are all over and when the lights hit the material, this dress becomes magical!
Black Dress Underneath - Target - This was an old purchase. It fits well underneath this glitter cover dress.
Hopefully these looks give you some inspiration for your upcoming holiday parties! Go outside of your normal wear and show off at your upcoming gatherings. It is a great time to think outside the box in regard to your outfits!
Happy Blogmas Day 6!
